How many sprints are in Agile?
The sprint is a fundamental part of the Agile project development process. Sprints are short, limited duration, productively focused episodes that help to achieve specific objectives. In an agile project, each sprint is designed to accomplish one of five basic goals: produce customer value, produce features, fix bugs, enhance quality, or scale.
Each sprint is composed of three activities: planning, doing, and reviewing. The Planning activity creates the goals for the sprint and identifies the tasks necessary to achieve them. The Doing activity implements the tasks within the timeframe allocated and Quality Review activity assesses their quality. Once the sprint is completed it is then reviewed to determine whether all tasks were completed and if any enhancements or changes are needed for future sprints.
