How do you set up a UAT environment?
1. Decide if you will be setting up a UAT environment
There are pros and cons to setting up a UAT environment, so you first have to decide if this is something you want to do. A UAT environment offers many benefits such as having complete control over the conditions your plants are grown in, being able to track progress throughout the entire grow cycle, and improving crop yields. There are also some important factors to consider before making the decision to set up a UAT environment including the cost of equipment and whether you have enough space.
2. Choose an airtight system
Assuming that you will be setting up a UAT environment, your next step is selecting an airtight system. This system needs to be able to maintain a controlled and temperature-controlled environment for your plants. Because UAT environments can reach high temperatures, it is important that your airtight system can resist humidity loss and pests infiltration.
3. Choose the right equipment
Once you have chosen an airtight system and selected the right equipment, it’s time to make sure everything is setup correctly before starting your grow cycle. Make sure all of your equipment is compatible with each other and that there are no leaks or issues with communication between devices. It’s also important to calibrate all sensors and adjust settings as needed in order to get the best results for your plants.
4. Set up your growing area
Next, you’ll need to set up your growing area. This will depend on the size of your room and type of equipment you’re using, but typically it will be divided into four parts: a veg area for plants growing straight away; a flowering area where buds will be produced; a storage area for excess cannabis; and an exhaust area where exhaled CO2 can be captured to help reduce odors in the house.
